Job DescriptionOur San Antonio, TX location is growing! We are accepting applications and interviewing potential candidates to join our team! Our Kitchen Staff work in the heart of the house (Kitchen) help to prepare all of the restaurant dishes according to recipe guidelines; the position includes general cleaning of work area, utensils and portions of Kitchen/food storage areas.Responsible for maintaining food standards as per preparation manual and specifications. Fill in where necessary in the Kitchen. Follow daily maintenance and cleaning schedule in the Kitchen. Follow all health and safety code regulations. Work to minimize food wasteThe Dishwasher position is responsible for cleaning and sanitizing the china, glassware, tableware, cooking equipment, using machine and manual cleaning methods. Also, the Dishwasher must also keep the dish area clean, safe, and sanitary.Setup or break down dishwashing areaFill in where necessary in the Kitchen. Sort and stack clean dishes. Carry clean dishes to proper storage areasSort and rinse dirty dishes, glass, tableware and other cooking utensils and place them in racks to send them through the dish machineHandle all china and glassware carefully to minimize breakageWash pot, pans, and trays by handKeep the dish machine clean and report any functional or mechanical problems immediatelyMonitor temperature on the dish machine to ensure it is cleaning and sanitizing correctlyBi-Lingual PreferredThese positions are hourly (non-exempt) positions that require nights, weekends & holidays availability.
