Job Description Occupational Therapy Assistant (OTA) degree, active Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) license, and 1+ years Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.Make a lasting impact by supporting early learners as a Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant in a dynamic preschool early intervention setting. This contract opportunity provides the chance to travel between various sites throughout Carbon and Lehigh counties, delivering vital occupational therapy services to preschool-aged children. With a schedule of 35 hours per week, this assignment runs year-round, following the Early Intervention calendar, and could extend into the 2026-27 school year. Flexibility is key, as assignments may shift during the school year to serve students from PreK through 12th grade.Key Qualifications:Active Pennsylvania COTA license and NBCOT certificationWillingness to provide itinerant (traveling) services across multiple locationsPrior experience in a school or early intervention setting preferredComfortable adapting to a caseload that may shift between preschool and school-aged studentsExcellent communication, collaboration, and organizational skillsSubmission must include city of residence, proof of active licensure, NBCOT and PPID numbers, and an up-to-date resume reflecting relevant experienceResponsibilities Include:Delivering direct occupational therapy services to preschool children, adjusting approaches based on individual needsCollaborating with families, teachers, and multidisciplinary teams to support each child's developmentDocumenting progress, developing and maintaining necessary reports, and contributing to goal planningMaintaining compliance with all relevant school, state, and professional guidelinesAdapting to changing assignments or caseloads as school needs evolveTake advantage of a rewarding role designed for those who thrive in flexible, travel-based assignments serving diverse student populations.
