About the RoleWe are seeking a highly motivated Point of Sale (POS) Implementation Specialist with hands-on experience in restaurant operations, menu building, and merchant training. This role is responsible for ensuring seamless deployment of POS solutions, tailoring configurations to client needs, and equipping merchants with the knowledge to confidently use their systems. The ideal candidate thrives at the intersection of technology, customer service, and restaurant operations.Key ResponsibilitiesLead the end-to-end implementation of POS systems for restaurant and hospitality clients.Configure, customize, and build menus to accurately reflect client operations, including pricing, modifiers, and workflows.Conduct on-site and virtual training sessions for restaurant staff, ensuring ease of use and system adoption.Provide hands-on support during go-live, troubleshooting issues and ensuring a smooth transition.Partner with project managers and sales teams to understand client requirements and translate them into system configurations.Deliver ongoing support and guidance post-implementation, including feature updates, system optimization, and refresher training.Document client configurations and maintain detailed project records.Qualifications1+ years of experience implementing or supporting POS systems, preferably within the restaurant or hospitality industry.IT and networking experience (network setup, troubleshooting, connectivity, and device configuration).Excellent communication and presentation skills; comfortable leading training for both technical and non-technical users.Problem-solving mindset with the ability to troubleshoot issues under pressure.Strong organizational skills with attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.Flexibility to travel to client locations as needed.Preferred SkillsExperience with leading POS platforms (e.g., Toast, Square, SkyTab, Clover, NCR, etc.).Background in restaurant management or operations.1+ years of experience implementing or supporting POS systems, preferably within the restaurant or hospitality industry.Strong knowledge of restaurant operations, including front-of-house and back-of-house workflows.Familiarity with payment processing and related technologies.
