Working hours are Sat - Sun, 8:00am-4:30pm, 4:00pm--12:00am, or 12:00am-8:00am. Weekend coverage may be required on a rotational basis. Competitive packages are available for qualified candidates. To address these challenges, we employ intelligent and committed staff who take care of our customers success as if it is their own./ph3Responsibilities/h3ulliSchedule appointments and utilize the Electronic Waiting List accurately in a timely manner./liliAll appointments shall be made with the patients input, either in-person or by phone and attempting to avoid patients having to make multiple trips to the medical center or whenever possible./liliThe contractor shall notify the VA shift supervisor when clinic access is less than desirable or if an individual patient cannot be scheduled within mandated clinic timeframes./liliThe contractor shall conduct a daily review of active/pending consults, Electronic Wait List, Recall list and Audio Care communications for accuracy and disposition./liliProvide general reception support in the Release of Information (ROI) offices at various medical centers./liliScan insurance cards, protect secure information, and complete all insurance buffer (ICB) encounters required by ICB./liliMake outgoing and receive incoming phone calls./liliReview requests for reimbursement of travel costs and reconcile claims/vouchers for payments using electronic systems./liliReview ambulance claims for eligibility and payment./liliAssist in arranging transportation for eligible patients and work with clinical teams to request appropriate mode of transportation./li/ulh3Qualifications/h3ulliCitizen of the United States of America./liliAbility to speak clearly, hear and write English./liliUtilize computer programs appropriately, usually involving spreadsheets, word processing, etc.; log in; type 40-50 wpm with minimum errors./liliHeavy phone and computer usage, often simultaneously./liliFamiliarity with medical terminology, hospital terminology and/or clinics./liliTechnically proficient in the skills necessary to fulfill the governments requirements; will be provided training by the SFVAHS on appointment management, VA policy and procedures./liliHave the following experience or education (or combination of both) to meet minimum qualifications for employment: ulliHave a two-year degree./liliTwo years of work-related experience./liliCertification from an accredited institution./li/ul/liliMSA Certification preferred - not required./liliAbility to pass a required level of security clearance (NACI-level background check)./liliNo sponsorship available./li/ulpstrongAll candidates must be able to:/strong/pulliSit, stand, walk, lift, squat, bend, twist, and reach above shoulders during the work shift/liliLift up to 50 lbs from floor to waist/liliLift up to 20 lbs/liliCarry up to 40 lbs a reasonable distance/liliPush/pull with 30 lbs of force/li/ulpstrongAll qualified applicants will receive consideration for employment without regard to race, color, religion, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity, national origin, disability, or status as a protected veteran./strong/p/div
