This internship will take place during the department’s busiest season, providing the intern with experience working in public-facing communications. The ideal candidate is creative, innovative, and detail-oriented with a passion for sharing vital news, resources, and tools that directly enhance the educational environment for students, educators, and families. Communications Intern will gain hands-on experience through the following duties: Content Creation Copy Writing & Editing Event Photography Media Relations Social Media Management All students are encouraged to apply, but preference may be given to applicants with a standing of junior/senior, South Dakota residents, and students of South Dakota institutions. Applicant must be enrolled as a part-time/full-time student at a college, university, or technical institute at the time they apply.
