We are also a publicly traded company on the NYSE with the ticker symbol KNF and part of the S&P MidCap 400 index.We have an excellent opportunity for EXPERIENCED Asphalt/Paving Crew Equipment Operators in our Central Idaho Division location, and we encourage applicants in the Coeur d'Alene, ID and Spokane, WA area to apply!Responsibilities include, but are not limited to the following:Operate paver, roller, skid steer, grade tractor, power broom and other equipment as assigned in a safe and appropriate mannerPerform daily maintenance and safety checks of equipmentSafely and properly perform maintenance (lubricating, fueling and cleaning) on equipmentManeuver heavy equipment into loading or unloading positions, following signals from loading crew as needed; check that the vehicle position is correct and any special loading equipment is properly positionedOperate equipment while maintaining proper awareness of ones surroundingsTroubleshoot and problem solve situations/problems (equipment operation/repair, etc.). Monitor and discuss production problems with managers/supervisorsEnsure MSHA, OSHA, EPA, DNR, safety and environmental regulation compliancePerform other related duties as requiredTimely and regular attendance is an essential requirementJob requires steady to intermittent and repetitive physical activity including: standing, stooping, kneeling, climbing, walking on uneven ground, lifting, carrying, pushing, shoveling, and rakingMinimum Qualifications:Have verifiable experience as an equipment operatorA high school diploma or general education degree (GED) is preferredValid driver's licenseMust be able to work day shifts and night shifts.
