The Lead Technician will be responsible for the installation, maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of elevators and escalators to ensure optimal safety and functionality. Daily tasks include diagnosing equipment issues, performing quality control inspections, adhering to safety standards, and maintaining detailed service records. Collaboration with project managers and clients to ensure timely completion of projects is also essential.QualificationsTechnical skills in troubleshooting, maintenance, and repair of elevator and escalator systemsExperience with mechanical systems, electrical components, wiring, and controlsProject and team management skills, including the ability to direct work, manage schedulesUnderstanding and adherence to safety regulations and compliance requirementsStrong problem-solving capabilities and attention to detailClear communication skills for effective collaboration with team members and clientsA minimum of a high school diploma or equivalent; additional certifications or technical training are a plusPrior experience in the elevator or escalator service industry is highly valuedAbility to work on-site and handle physical tasks required by the role
