In this role, you will be responsible for designing, configuring, testing, implementing, supporting, and documenting solutions for assigned applications across the organization. You welcome a challenge and want to provide next level experiences to every individual that uses our systems.What You’ll DoDesign, write, test, implement, and document solutions for assigned program modulesCollaborate with project teams and other Software Engineers to provide technical supportSupport assigned IT systems/applications by troubleshooting and resolving defectsAlways take action using Integrity, Caring, and Excellence to achieve all-win outcomesWhat You’ll NeedBachelor’s degree in computer science, Engineering, in a related field, or equivalent experienceDemonstrated ability to independently identify program issues and develop the appropriate solution, typically requiring at least 2 years of experienceStrong understanding of software development principles, programming concepts, best practices, and development methodologiesDemonstrated strong experience with Java and SQLExperience designing and building scalable enterprise applications using Spring Boot and Microservices architecture Ability to write clean, maintainable, and well-tested code using unit and integration testing frameworks such as JUnit and MockitoStrong experience designing, developing, and deploying RESTful microservices, including API design, Spring Security, JWT/OAuth2 authentication, service-to-service communication, and event-driven architectures using Kafka or RabbitMQExperience working with relational and NoSQL databases, as well as containerization and orchestration technologies such as Docker, Kubernetes, or OpenShiftStrong troubleshooting and debugging skills across application, infrastructure, and system layersKnowledge of resilient microservice patterns such as Circuit Breaker, Retry, Timeout, and Bulkhead to ensure system reliability and fault toleranceExcellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to collaborate effectively across cross-functional teamsAdditional Preferred SkillsExperience working with CI/CD pipelines using tools such as Jenkins, GitHub ActionsHaving knowledge on Banking and Financial is preferredExperience with API Gateway technologiesExposure to AI-assisted software development toolsExposure to front-end and mobile application development technologies such as Angular, Kotlin, Xcode, or similar frameworks is a plus.Our BenefitsAt Frost, we care about your health, your family, and your future and strive to have our benefits reflect that.
