Bringing hands-on technical expertise with a deep understanding of modern security frameworks in an enterprise setting, the Network Engineer will support Komline’s growth and evolution by assisting in the design and maintenance of the network infrastructure.Roles And ResponsibilitiesAssess network, firewall, VPN, and wireless capabilities of acquired entities and develop integration plans to align with corporate standardsOversee LAN/WAN, SD-WAN, wireless, and VPN architectures to ensure high performance and availabilityWork with third-party MSPs to maintain enterprise firewalls, intrusion prevention systems, and access controls in collaboration with the Cybersecurity LeadCollaborate with system administrators to manage and integrate Active Directory environments across acquisitions.Ensure secure, efficient authentication, replication, and connectivity between domains and hybrid cloud servicesIdentify opportunities to enhance network reliability, scalability, and security, including hardware and software upgradesEvaluate, select, and manage relationships with network equipment vendors, ISPs, and managed service providersCreate & maintain detailed network diagrams, configurations, and standard operating proceduresDevelop & perform proactive monitoring, rapid incident response, and root-cause analysis for network-related issuesWork closely with IT infrastructure, security, and cloud teams to ensure seamless connectivity and integration across all systemsContribute to annual budgeting, capacity planning, and long-term infrastructure roadmapsRequired QualificationsBachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field7+ years of experience managing enterprise networks in multi-site environmentsExperience integrating acquired networks or managing complex network transitions and upgradesAdvanced knowledge of network technologies and principles (OSI model)Strong experience with firewalls, routing, switching, wireless, and network monitoring toolsKnowledge of VMware/Hyper-V Virtualization technologiesFamiliarity with cloud service models and cloud integration with on-prem data center infrastructureLead projects, manage timelines, and communicate effectively across teams.Ability to travel up to 50% to support network requirements across various sites and acquisitionsPreferred QualificationsCertifications such a CCNP, CompTIA Network+, Fortinet NSE, Azure Network Engineer Associate, and etcFamiliarity with hybrid environments, Azure networking, and Active Directory/Entra ID integrationEqual Opportunity Statement: Komline is an EEO employer – M/F/Vets/Disabled
