Governance & Compliance Consultant

We are currently seeking a Governance & Compliance Consultant for a prominent client of ours. This position is fully remote (EST preferred). Details for the position are as follows:Job Description:Pay: $50 - 56/hr (W2)1-year assignment with potential for extension and possible conversion based on performance and headcount approval. You will be supporting a newly formed global governance operations team focused on operationalizing third-party governance policies and standardsThis is NOT a hands-on Third-Party Risk Analyst role; the focus is much more heavily centered on governance operations, documentation management, and process coordinationPrimary responsibilities include managing SOPs, governance repositories, version control, audit evidence, workflows, process documentation, and operational governance artifactsCreate organize and maintain policies, SOPs, RACIs, workflows, playbooks, executive summaries, and governance documentation to support scalable operational processesEvaluate current-state processes, identify documentation gaps/discrepancies, and helps standardize operational governance procedures across teamsTools primarily include MS Office Suite, document repositories, workflow platforms, and some AI toolsQualifications:Bachelor’s degree required3+ years of experience in governance operations, compliance, audit support, process coordination, documentation management, or related environmentsConsulting-style backgrounds strongly preferredStrong experience with SOP management, governance documentation, repositories, version control, and audit-ready documentationExperience supporting governance, compliance, ESG, cyber GRC, audit, procurement, or operational risk environments preferredHigh-level understanding of procurement, supply chain, compliance, or organizational governance processes is helpful but not requiredStrong written communication, documentation, organizational, and stakeholder management skills requiredAbility to thrive in agile, ambiguous, and evolving environmentsIf you are interested in hearing more about the position, please respond to this posting with your resume attached.
