Integrity, safety, and teamwork are at the core of everything we do.Position SummaryWe are seeking a Quality Technician with hands-on experience in PCB-based electronics to support testing, troubleshooting, and failure analysis of production and returned products.This role focuses on diagnosing printed circuit board assembly (PCBA) issues, assisting in root cause investigations, and supporting product quality and continuous improvement activities. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, technically curious, and comfortable working directly with electronic hardware in a lab environment.Key ResponsibilitiesPCB Testing & TroubleshootingTroubleshoot and debug PCB assemblies using lab equipment (oscilloscopes, multimeters, power supplies)Probe signals, trace circuits, and identify component-level failuresRead and interpret schematics and technical documentation to isolate issuesFailure Analysis (RMA & Production Support)Support analysis of returned products (RMA) and in-process failuresAssist with identifying failure modes and contributing to root cause investigationsDocument findings and communicate results to engineering and quality teamsRepair, Rework & ValidationPerform PCB rework including component replacement and soldering (SMT and through-hole)Conduct functional testing to verify repairs and corrective actionsEnsure products meet performance, quality, and safety requirementsLab & Engineering SupportAssist engineers with product testing, validation, and quality checksMaintain organized lab workspace and ensure equipment is properly maintained and calibratedRecord test data, maintain logs, and update technical documentationCross-Functional CollaborationWork with Engineering, Quality, Manufacturing, and Customer Service teamsProvide feedback on recurring issues and observed failure trendsQualificationsAssociate or Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics Technology, or related field (or equivalent hands-on experience)1–3+ years of experience in electronics testing, troubleshooting, or manufacturing supportBasic understanding of analog and digital circuitsAbility to read and interpret electrical schematicsExperience using lab equipment such as oscilloscopes and multimetersHands-on soldering and PCB rework experience (SMT and/or through-hole preferred)Exposure to manufacturing, test, or failure analysis environmentsKey Skills & AttributesStrong attention to detail and problem-solving skillsHands-on, methodical approach to troubleshootingClear communication and documentation skillsAbility to work both independently and within a teamWillingness to learn and grow in a technical environmentWork EnvironmentLab-based role working directly with electronic hardwareMay involve handling energized circuits and electro-mechanical systemsUse of ESD-safe practices and adherence to lab safety procedures requiredEqual Opportunity EmployerKiddeFenwal, LLC is an Equal Opportunity/Affirmative Action Employer.
