As a Security Officer with Allied Universal at a financial institution location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, conduct routine rounds, and maintain a visible presence that helps to reduce security-related incidents. Bring your integrity and teamwork to an agile, reliable, and innovative team where our caring culture puts people first.Position Type: FlexPay Rate: $19.59 / HourJob Schedule:DayTimeSat03:00 PM - 11:00 PMWhy Join Us:Smart Tools: Access to our exclusive technology to view and claim additional shifts to earn more.Career Growth: Get paid training and access to career growth opportunities.Financial Benefits: Participate in our retirement savings plan to invest in your future.Exclusive Perks: Enjoy discounts on top brands and services through our Perks Program.What You'll Do:Provide customer service to clients at a financial institution location by following Allied Universal security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities when appropriate.Monitor access control points, verify credentials as required, and help to deter unauthorized entry to restricted areas such as offices, vault-adjacent corridors, and cash handling spaces.Respond to alarms, incidents, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, coordinating notifications and documenting actions taken per post orders.Conduct regular and random patrols of the facility interior, exterior, and perimeter, observing for unusual conditions and reporting concerns through established channels.Complete detailed incident reports, shift logs, and patrol documentation, and communicate relevant observations during post transitions and/or to site leadership as needed.Minimum Requirements:Possess a New York State Security Guard License.Have at least 1 year of security-related experience.Client requires proof of a high school diploma or GED.Be at least 21 years of age.Customer service experience is preferred.Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.Allied Universal is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
