Audio Visual Engineer

Our client is seeking a AV Engineer in Brighton, MA. This is a 6+monrh contract and onsite. Need to be able to travel to our second Lawrence facility, Methuen, and Londonderry. Most of the audio/visual rooms are in Lawrence but these other buildings have at least one room system and specialty AV in the cafeterias.Major Accountabilities:Role responsibilities include but not limited to:Install, configure, operate, and maintain AV systems including audio, video, control systems, and conferencing technologiesSupport the setup, testing, and execution of live events, validating system readiness in advanceServe as a primary or supporting system operator for internal events and coordinate with third-party vendors for external event executionApply general networking knowledge (VLANs, IP addressing, connectivity) to support AV systems while following established network standards and best practices.Troubleshoot and resolve issues across AV systems, workplace technology, and basic network-related environmentsProvide initial triage support for general IT and end-user technology (monitors, docks, peripherals, conferencing systems), escalating issues as neededMaintain a working understanding of power, cabling, signal flow, patching, routing, and distribution systemsSupport and maintain video walls, digital signage platforms, and content distribution systemsWhat We’re Looking For:2-5 years of experience in Audio-Visual Support, IT Support, AV production, or a related technical roleHands-on experience supporting AV systems and general IT environmentsExperience with Microsoft 365 Office Suite (Outlook, Excel, Teams, Powerpoint)Understanding of core AV fundamentals including signal flow and system components
