* PURPOSE & OVERALL RELEVANCE FOR THE ORGANIZATION:The Certified Nurse Aide will provide support to the nursing staff and providers to room patients and gatherinformation necessary for the visit.KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES:Serves as a patient advocate at all times in the delivery of patient careEscort patients to exam room, interview patients, collect vital signs & necessary information in order tofacilitate the provider visitEnsure all related reports, labs and other information is filed in the EMR prior to the patientappointmentCommunicate with nursing staff as to needs of patient and/or providerSupport organization as neededCORE COMPETENCIES (soft skills):High adaptability and flexibilityStrong customer service skills.Excellent oral and written communication skills.Be a dependable & reliable team playerExceptional attention to detail, organization, and time management skills.Ability to self‐start, work independently and work as part of a team.Ability to maintain confidentiality.Communication and interpersonal skills as applied to interaction with coworkers, supervisor, andothers, sufficient to exchange or convey information and to receive work direction.Demonstrates the ability to communicate effectively with patients and other health care providersResponds competently to unanticipated events and medical emergencies on scope of practice,professional experience, and established protocolSupportive of the diversity of our staff and clienteleDemonstrate passion for and commitment to FHC's mission and its importance to thecommunity.REQUIREMENTS (hard skills):Proficiency in all applicable computer skillsKnowledge of Electronic Medical RecordsEDUCATION/EXPERIENCE:Experience in health care environmentCustomer service experienceNorth Dakota Nurse Aide Registration requiredWorking Conditions and Environment:This position has good working conditions in general; noise level in work environment is usually quiet.Physical Requirement/Activities:Standing, walking, climbing, balancing, bending, carrying, reaching, squatting, pushing, pulling, lifting, twisting,gripping, talking, typing, hearing/listening, seeing/observing.Sedentary to light work:Exerting up to 10 pounds of force occasionally and/or negligible amount of force frequently or constantly tolift, carry, push, pull or otherwise move objects, including the human body. Sedentary to light work involvessitting approximately 75% of the time.
