Job Overview Sunset Villa is seeking compassionate and dedicated Caregivers to join our team in providing exceptional care to our residents. As a Caregiver, you will play a vital role in enhancing the quality of life for individuals in our Memory care facilities. Your responsibilities will include assisting with daily living activities, monitoring health conditions, and ensuring a safe and nurturing environment for all residents. Responsibilities Assist residents with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs) such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and meal preparation. Provide patient care and support to individuals with various needs, including those with Alzheimer’s, and dementia. Monitor vital signs and report any changes in residents' health to Facility RN. Maintain cleanliness in living areas and housekeeping duties. Prepare nutritious meals according to dietary requirements and resident preferences. Engage residents in social activities to promote mental well-being and companionship. Use assistive devices such as Hoyer lifts safely when transferring residents. Document patient observations accurately and maintain confidentiality at all times. Qualifications Previous experience in caregiving or related fields such as home health, hospice care, or long-term care is preferred. Knowledge of first aid and CPR; certification is a plus. Strong patient observation skills with the ability to monitor changes in behavior or health status effectively. Ability to perform heavy lifting as required for resident transfers and mobility assistance. Excellent communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively within a team environment.
