We are proud to offer a market-leading range of premium products across categories, styles and price points, remaining committed to beautiful design and, above all, a world-class customer experience.The Showroom Coordinator is responsible for welcoming customers into the showroom and coordinating showroom activities to ensure an excellent customer experience.Visual Comfort Offers:Work-Life Balance: Showroom operates Monday through Friday 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.Training & Development: A comprehensive and structured training program, complemented by ongoing education and opportunities for career advancement.Paid Time Off: Generous vacation accrual and paid time off policies.Holidays: 7 paid holidays per year, in addition to 2 floating holidays.Compensation: Competitive compensation planHealth Benefits: Visual Comfort covers the majority of employee medical premiums, and offers competitive vision and dental coverage available starting the first of the month following your start date.Insurance: Company-provided life insurance and short-term disability coverage.Retirement: 401(k) plan with company matching up to 4%, available beginning the first of the month following your hire date.How success is defined:Greet, welcome, and direct customers upon arrival to ensure a positive showroom experienceRepresent the Visual Comfort & Co. brand through professional communication, appearance, and conductAnswer and route incoming calls to appropriate showroom staff or managementMaintain showroom visual standards, including responsibility for cleaning, organization, and overall presentation of the spaceCoordinate meeting logistics, including scheduling and catering arrangementsOrder, stock, and maintain showroom and office suppliesManage showroom related purchase orders within ERP systemsAssist with the coordination of shipping, delivery, and logistics activities Track and follow up on customers’ inquiries, collaborating with Sales Associates and the Showroom Manager to ensure timely resolutionAssist the Showroom Manager with inventory managementWork effectively with others in a team environment to accomplish organizational goals and to identify and resolve problemsExhibit and adhere to the established Visual Comfort Company Values.Must demonstrate commitment, dependability, punctuality, and adherence to agreed-upon schedule while being present in the workplace to effectively collaborate and communicate amongst co-workers and teamsWhat you will bring:High school diploma required; associate or bachelor’s degree preferredStrong proficiency with ERP systems and Microsoft Office applications Experience in customer service or reception in interior design, luxury home furnishings, lighting, and/or retail industries a plusStrong aesthetic sense or interest in design preferredExceptional organizational and time management skills, with a strong attention to detailAbility to prioritize and handle multiple tasks and changing prioritiesAbility to achieve results both independently and through others by fostering a spirit of teamwork and cooperationDemonstrate exceptional communication across all contact channels, including email, chat, and phoneAvailable to work a flexible schedule including weekends, early mornings, late eveningsEquivalent combinations of education and experience will be considered for this roleCompensation: $25 - $28 per hourQualified applicants are considered for employment, and employees are treated during employment without regard to race, color, religion, sex, sexual orientation, national origin, age, disability, veteran status, gender identity, or expression, genetic information, or any other legally protected status.To be eligible for this role, you must be authorized to work in the United States.
