Supervisor of Technical Project Management

General Summary Of PositionOversees the technical project management team, ensuring successful execution of various technical projects. This role involves coordinating with internal and external stakeholders, managing project timelines, and ensuring project goals are met within budget and scope.Duties And ResponsibilitiesProject Oversight: Lead and supervise a team of technical project managers in planning, executing, and closing projects.Stakeholder Communication: Facilitate meetings and communication between project stakeholders, including clients, internal teams, and vendors.Resource Management: Allocate resources effectively across projects, ensuring optimal use of personnel and budget.Risk Management: Identify potential project risks and develop mitigation strategies.Performance Monitoring: Track project progress, performance metrics, and provide regular updates to senior management.Process Improvement: Continuously improve project management processes and tools to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.Required QualificationsBachelor’s degree in Business, Engineering, or a related field.Project Management Professional (PMP) certification is preferred.Minimum of 5 years of experience in project management, with at least 2 years in a supervisory role.Strong understanding of project management methodologies and tools.Excellent communication and leadership skills.Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, including Project, Excel, and PowerPointPreferred QualificationsExperience in the telecommunications industry.Proven track record of managing large-scale technical projects.Familiarity with agile project management practices.
