Compensation & Benefits$35.00 – $49.50/hour (DOE)Per diem provided for travel assignmentsFull-time benefits package (details provided during hiring process)Position SummaryKodiak Labor Solutions is actively seeking a skilled BICSI Traveling Technician to support structured cabling and low-voltage installations across active project sites. This is a boots-on-the-ground, travel-heavy role ideal for technicians who thrive in dynamic environments and take pride in clean, high-quality installs. You’ll be part of a team driving critical infrastructure across commercial and data center projects.Key ResponsibilitiesInstall, terminate, and test copper and fiber optic cabling systemsRead and interpret blueprints, schematics, and project layoutsPerform cable routing, dressing, labeling, and documentationConduct testing using Fluke and other certification toolsMaintain compliance with BICSI and industry standardsTravel to various job sites and support project timelinesCollaborate with foremen, project managers, and other field teamsRequired QualificationsActive BICSI certification (Installer or Technician preferred)2+ years of structured cabling experience (commercial or data center)Strong understanding of copper and fiber installationsExperience with testing and troubleshooting cabling systemsAbility to travel consistently for project needsReliable transportation and valid driver’s licenseProject Details & DurationFull-time, direct hire role with long-term project pipelineProjects primarily across Oklahoma and surrounding regionsConsistent work with established crews and leadershipLocation: Oklahoma (Traveling Role)Position Type: Direct Hire | Full-TimeWhy This Role MattersThis role supports mission-critical infrastructure projects where precision and performance are everything.
