Position Summary
Arizona Science Center is seeking a Website Manager who is a proven leader who can create strong relationships with creative and technical teams. The Website Manager owns the strategy and management of AzScience.org. This person will work with members of the creative services team to create exceptional, engaging, and highly differentiated brand experiences. An ideal candidate will be up to date on the latest web technologies, craft and execute an organic growth strategy designed to convert traffic to qualified leads efficiently, and consistently monitor results to ensure our approach meets the established program KPIs and department goals.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES and RESPONSIBILITIES
Leads the development, implementation, launch and ongoing updates of the new AzScience.org
Participate in cross-functional collaboration to drive annual revenue and attendance goals, in alignment with the organization's balanced scorecard, using strategies informed by data analysis aimed at elevating web traffic, optimizing the path to purchase conversion rates, enhancing customer retention, and augmenting revenue through AzScience.org
Responsible for monthly reports and tracking of website analytics
Develop an ongoing digital roadmap that continually iterates, tests, and improves the website
Manages our CMS and liaises with our web development agency on website maintenance, updates, and issues when they arise
Oversees, develops, and implements SEO strategies
Conduct keyword research to guide content teams
Review technical SEO issues and recommend fixes every month
Optimize website content, landing pages, and paid search copy
Collaborates with the Marketing Manager to deploy compelling copy, graphics, and videos developed to support web content needs
Ensures our website is fresh and current with engaging enhancements and relevant content
Continually explore and implement opportunities to monetize the AzScience.org website
Works cross-functionally to initiate web projects that help meet business objectives
Communicates campaign performance to the marketing team and other stakeholders with regular and ad-hoc reports

EDUCATION And EXPERIENCE
Bachelor's Degree (B.A.) or equivalent in marketing, advertising, communication studies, business administration, or related field from a four-year college or technical school; at least four years of related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Qualifications
Experience developing plans for and executing website initiatives and SEO programs
Comprehensive website auditing and optimization experience
Technical depth to understand and diagnose web issues
Strong understanding of information architecture, user testing, interaction, and visual design
Experience in optimizing landing pages and user funnels
Understands financial performance, analysis and metrics to drive attendance, traffic and revenue
Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to communicate effectively with external partners and within all levels of the organization.
Effective time management and organizational skills with a proactive, goal-oriented mindset
Strong intuition for prospect and customer-facing messaging and branding.
Visual design skills (e.g., Adobe Suite, InDesign, or Photoshop) to create basic digital assets
Must be able to work well both independently, and collaboratively within a team environment
Supervisory Responsibilities
Does not have any day-day supervisory responsibilities. However, the Website Manager may lead ad hoc tasks or project teams in conjunction with a special project and work with a rotation of interns.
POSITION TYPE/EXPECTED HOURS OF WORK
This position is full-time. Some weekend and evening work may be required.
