Red Iron Supervisor – Utah Project *MWI IS HIRING – RED IRON SUPERVISOR* (Bring your current crew with you) *Mountain West Industrial (MWI)* is looking for an experienced *Red Iron Supervisor* for a *new project in Utah*. Already have a crew? GREAT! bring them too! MWI specializes in *structural steel, red iron erection, ironwork, mechanical work, and pipe work*, with projects primarily supporting *mine and heavy industrial sites throughout the United States*. This position my come with a company Vehicle/fuel card to the right candidate. What You'll Do * Supervise crews performing red iron and structural steel erection * Coordinate daily manpower, equipment, materials, and work activities * Read and interpret structural steel drawings and erection plans * Ensure proper installation, alignment, bolting, and erection procedures * Coordinate cranes, rigging, lifts, and material movement * Monitor production and keep work on schedule * Lead pre-task planning, JSA/JHA meetings, and toolbox talks * Enforce MWI and customer safety requirements * Follow applicable OSHA *safety standards* on mine sites * Coordinate with project management, customers, and other trades * Maintain high standards for quality and workmanship * Lead by example and keep crews productive and safe What We're Looking For * Experienced *Red Iron / Structural Steel Supervisor* * Strong structural steel erection background * Proven ability to lead and manage field crews * Experience with cranes, rigging, and steel erection * Ability to read structural drawings and blueprints * Mine-site or heavy industrial experience preferred * Knowledge of OSHA & *MSHA safety requirements* preferred * Strong communication and problem-solving skills * Willingness to travel for future MWI projects throughout the USA Pay: $35.00 - $40.00 per hour Benefits: * 401(k) * 401(k) matching * Dental insurance * Employee assistance program * Health insurance * Health savings account * Paid time off * Retirement plan * Vision insurance Work Location: In person
