Candidates must be authorized to work in the U.S. without sponsorship. only U.S. Citizens and Green Card holders are eligible for this role.Job DescriptionThe Computer Operator (IT Support) is responsible for supporting daily IT operations, ensuring the smooth functioning of computer systems, and assisting with routine technical and administrative tasks. This role includes monitoring systems, performing basic troubleshooting, and providing support to end users in a structured IT environment.Key Responsibilities Monitor and maintain daily IT operations and system performanceOperate and manage computer systems, applications, and batch processesPerform basic troubleshooting for hardware, software, and system issuesSupport desktop systems, printers, and peripheral devicesAssist with data entry, data validation, and record maintenanceExecute routine tasks such as:System backupsFile transfersJob scheduling and processingRespond to user requests, alerts, and system notificationsMaintain logs and documentation of system activities and incidentsCoordinate with IT teams to escalate and resolve issuesEnsure systems are running efficiently and report any abnormalitiesExperience & Qualifications Required1 3 years of experience in IT support, computer operations, or related roleExperience working in a structured IT or enterprise environment preferredAssociate s or Bachelor s degree in IT, Computer Science, or related field (preferred)Basic understanding of IT operations and system workflowsTechnical Skills Knowledge of:Windows Operating Systems (Windows 10/11, Windows Server basics)Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook)Familiarity with:System monitoring tools and logsBatch processing / job scheduling (basic level)File management and data handlingBasic understanding of:Networking concepts (connectivity, IP basics)Backup and recovery processesExperience with help desk or ticketing tools is a plus
