Product Manager – Checkout & Transaction ExperienceLocation: Atlanta, GA (Hybrid)(Our client is not open to 3rd parties or candidates needing sponsorships) OverviewWe are seeking a Product Manager to support a large-scale checkout and transaction experience portfolio within a Fortune 100 retail environment. This role is focused on modernizing how customers complete purchases across both physical and digital channels, with an emphasis on speed, reliability, and ease of use.You will play a key role in delivering products that enhance front-line employee efficiency, streamline transaction workflows, and improve the end-to-end customer experience at a critical conversion point.This position requires strong collaboration across engineering, design, analytics, and operations, along with the ability to balance customer needs, business goals, and technical execution.Team ContextYou will support a team responsible for evolving omnichannel transaction experiences, including both in-location and digital checkout flows. The team is focused on improving how transactions are completed, ensuring a seamless and efficient experience for both customers and internal users.Key ResponsibilitiesProduct Strategy & PlanningTranslate business objectives and user needs into a clear product strategy and roadmapIdentify and prioritize features that improve transaction efficiency and user experienceConduct user research and workflow analysis to uncover optimization opportunitiesDefine success metrics and KPIs to measure product performance and impactDelivery & ExecutionOwn and manage the product backlog, including writing and prioritizing user storiesParticipate in Agile ceremonies (standups, sprint planning, demos, retrospectives)Drive delivery to ensure product releases meet quality, timeline, and business goalsMonitor product performance and iterate based on insights and dataStakeholder CollaborationPartner with cross-functional teams including engineering, UX, analytics, and operationsCommunicate product vision, roadmap, and progress to stakeholdersRepresent the voice of the end user in product decisionsAlign priorities across a matrixed organization and influence outcomesRequired Qualifications3–5 years of experience in Product Management or Product Owner rolesExperience working in Agile/Scrum environmentsExperience delivering digital, transactional, or workflow-based productsStrong communication and cross-functional collaboration skillsPreferred QualificationsExperience in high-volume transaction environments (e.g., retail, fintech, payments, or POS-related systems)Experience supporting operational or customer-facing workflowsExperience using data and experimentation to inform product decisionsLocation & Work RequirementsMust be based in the Atlanta, GA areaMust reside within a reasonable commuting distanceMinimal travel required
