As a vital and highly visible team, we operate at an unprecedented scale to ensure accurate, compliant, auditable transactions with 24/7 availability.We seek a deep technical leader to shape FinHub's engineering direction, enhance architectural integrity across our systems, and spearhead platform advancements.Your Responsibilities:Lead critical scaling initiatives and define the technical vision to accommodate millions of additional customers.Design and build foundational backend systems with a focus on performance, scalability, and ultra-low latency.Drive impactful cross-functional engineering projects that gain significant visibility.Establish and refine organizational best practices, frameworks, and architectural standards.Identify and assess industry and company trends to guide the adoption of new technologies.Provide technical mentorship, guide design choices, and elevate engineering quality.What We Look For:10+ years of experience in building and managing large-scale distributed systems in production.Proficiency in backend programming languages (e.g., Python, Go, Java) and cloud-native architectures.Demonstrated success in designing highly available, high-performance systems.Ability to foresee scaling challenges and implement proactive solutions.Experience leading cross-functional technical initiatives and mentoring senior engineers.Commitment to technical excellence and fostering a robust engineering culture.Capacity to simplify complex technical concepts into clear, actionable solutions.Preferred Qualifications:Experience in designing and operating large-scale ledgering or trading systems.Strong financial knowledge with experience in handling precise accounting data and reliable financial transactions.Proven ability to collaborate closely with finance and accounting professionals.Job ID: P75766Compensation Transparency: Depending on your work location, the target annual base salary for this position can range from $253,895 to $298,700 USD.
