Head Bartender – Tu Tu’ Tun Lodge Gold Beach, OR | Full-Time | Housing Available for the Right Candidate Tu Tu’ Tun Lodge, recognized by Esquire as one of the Best New Hotels in the World (2025) and featured on Travel + Leisure’s list of Top Resorts in the Western U.S., is seeking an experienced and hospitality-driven Head Bartender to lead our bar program. Set along the stunning Rogue River on the Southern Oregon Coast, our seasonal luxury lodge offers an unforgettable dining and drinking experience built around thoughtful service, local ingredients, and curated wines and spirits. About the Role As Head Bartender, you will be the creative and operational lead behind our cocktail program, working closely with the Executive Chef and Sommelier to ensure seamless service and a cohesive beverage experience. You'll be a working lead behind the bar while also overseeing inventory, prep, team training, and guest engagement. Key Responsibilities Craft and serve exceptional cocktails that reflect seasonal and regional flavors Lead daily bar operations, including opening and closing procedures Train, supervise, and mentor bar and service team members in beverage knowledge and service standards Maintain par levels, order inventory, and ensure proper storage and cleanliness Contribute to beverage menu development with creativity and consistency Engage with guests in a warm, informed, and professional manner Work collaboratively across departments to support exceptional guest experiences Ideal Candidate 2–3 years experience in a leadership or head bartender role Deep knowledge of spirits, classic and modern cocktails, and bar technique A passion for guest service and hospitality culture Organized and self-motivated with strong communication skills Able to maintain composure and quality during high-volume service Experience with low-waste, seasonal, or foraged ingredients a plus Compensation & Benefits Full-time, hourly or salaried depending on experience Eligible for tips (hourly) or seasonal bonus (salary) Health, vision, and dental insurance (for full-time salaried hires) 401(k) with employer match 2 weeks paid vacation (salaried) Creative input into a respected and growing beverage program About Tu Tu’ Tun Lodge Our bar and restaurant are deeply integrated into the guest experience at Tu Tu’ Tun Lodge.
