Founding Engineer – AI for Enterprise ProcurementSan Francisco (in-person) | $180K + 1% equityDevLogic is helping an early-stage startup hire their first engineer.They're building AI that helps large manufacturers and enterprises manage sourcing, suppliers and supply-chain risk — already closing six-figure enterprise deals, backed by early investors in Netflix, DoorDash, Stripe and Lyft, with an advisory board of former Chief Procurement Officers from major global companies.Small founding team (3 people, one ex-NASA), looking for their first engineering hire.What you'll do:Build across the full stack — frontend, backend, data, deploymentOwn features end-to-end, from customer conversation to shipped productWork directly with enterprise customersHelp build reliable AI agent workflows and the guardrails around themHelp shape engineering practices as one of the first people in the roomWhat they're looking for:Full-stack engineer who can take a spec to near-production quality on their ownStrong CS fundamentals — backend systems, databases, distributed architecturePython, TypeScript, Java or C++, plus a modern backend frameworkSome cloud experienceInterest or experience with LLMs/AI agents — ML backgrounds welcomeA builder — side projects, research systems, things you've shipped on your ownNo specific pedigree required — they care more about what you've built than where you went to school.Please apply for more information
