As a Level II Trauma Center and designated stroke receiving center, this facility is known for its patient-centered and evidence-based approach, particularly within its innovative Rehabilitation Services Department. This role focuses on managing and overseeing comprehensive programs for breast and breast cancer care, including diagnostic imaging services.Key ResponsibilitiesDevelop, implement, and monitor comprehensive oncology programs, with a particular focus on breast cancer care.Ensure high-quality, patient-centered care through evidence-based practices.Oversee the daily operations of the oncology department, fostering a supportive and collaborative environment for the team.Provide leadership and mentorship to staff, promoting professional development and clinical excellence.Maintain compliance with regulatory standards, including those set by TJC and other relevant bodies.QualificationsCurrent Registered Nurse (RN) license in California (must remain current).Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Heart Association (must remain current).Demonstrated experience in oncology and ambulatory care settings.Strong leadership and management skills with at least 3 years in a supervisory role.Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) required; Master of Science in Nursing (MSN) preferred.Thorough knowledge of regulatory requirements pertinent to the role.Compensation And BenefitsUp to $20,000 sign-on bonus for qualified candidates.Competitive salary and comprehensive benefits package.This is an exciting opportunity for a compassionate and strategic nursing leader to join a renowned acute care center and make a meaningful impact on oncology services.
