POSITION TITLE: Teacher - Math (MS) for the 2026-2027 School Year LOCATION(S): multiple locationsSTART DATE: July 27, 2026JOB DESCRIPTION: Establish a positive learning environment and respond to the individual needs of students in the classroom. Plan and implement effective lessons, using time, materials and resources effectively. Display a thorough knowledge of middle math curriculum. Demonstrate awareness of the needs of students and provide for individual differences. Support the philosophy and mission of the Bartow County School System. Demonstrate prompt and regular attendance. Other duties as assigned.EDUCATION, CERTIFICATION OR TRAINING: Must hold or be able to secure a valid clear renewable Georgia teaching certificate in Middle Grades Mathematics (4-8) or Mathematics (6-12).SKILLS: Ability and knowledge to effectively teach at the middle school level.EXPERIENCE: Previous teaching experience preferred, not required.The Bartow County Board of Education reserves the right to accept equivalent qualifications as the Board may deem appropriate and acceptable.
