Job Title: Nursing Director - Critical Care ServicesLocation: Bartlett, TNOrganization: Virtus Healthcare Staffing on behalf of a Community Medical CenterPosition SummaryVirtus Healthcare Staffing is engaged in a search for a Nursing Director of Critical Care Services to join our partner, a reputable community medical center in Bartlett, TN. This pivotal role provides strategic leadership and support to the Chief Nursing Officer (CNO) and is accountable for overseeing nursing and other patient care services within the critical care units. The Nursing Director is responsible for assessing, planning, coordinating, implementing, and evaluating nursing practices on a multi-unit level and will have 24/7 oversight of assigned areas. The role ensures the delivery of high-quality, safe, and appropriate nursing care, maintains clinical staff competency, and manages resources effectively.Key ResponsibilitiesMaintain an active and current Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of residence/practice.Demonstrate highly effective interpersonal and communication skills to collaborate across multidisciplinary teams.Exhibit proven leadership skills and a strong understanding of hospital operations.Serve as a role model and advocate for professional nursing standards and practices.EducationRequired: Associate degree from an accredited nursing school with a Bachelor's degree in a healthcare-related field or a Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN).Preferred: Master of Science in Nursing (MSN) or a Master's degree in a healthcare-related field.ExperienceRequired: A minimum of two (2) years of progressive management experience within a hospital environment, including roles as a manager or full-time charge nurse.CertificationsRequired: Must hold the necessary state licensure, certifications, or registrations required to practice as a Registered Nurse (RN).Virtus Healthcare Staffing is excited to connect with experienced nursing leaders who are passionate about advancing critical care services and delivering exceptional patient care.
