The Machine Operator is responsible for operating and maintaining woodworking machinery to produce high-quality cabinet components while ensuring efficiency, accuracy, and safety standards are consistently met. Schedule: Monday Thursday, 6:00 AM 4:00 PM Pay: $20.00Key Responsibilities:Operate production machinery such as CNC routers, panel saws, edge banders, dowel machines, and other shop equipmentRead and interpret job orders, cut lists, and production specificationsPerform machine setup, adjustments, and basic troubleshootingConduct routine tool checks and changes to maintain quality standardsInspect finished parts to ensure they meet quality requirementsMaintain a clean and organized work areaFollow all safety procedures and company policiesCommunicate machine issues or production delays to leadership promptlyAssist with workflow efficiency and continuous improvement effortsPreferred Qualifications:Previous experience operating machinery in a manufacturing or woodworking environment preferredAbility to read a tape measure and understand basic shop mathStrong attention to detail and quality controlMechanical aptitude and problem-solving skillsAbility to work in a fast-paced environmentDependable and team-orientedPhysical Requirements:Ability to stand for extended periodsAbility to lift, push, or pull materials up to 50 lbsFrequent bending, reaching, and handling of materialsWork Environment:Manufacturing/shop environment with exposure to wood dust and machinery noise. Required use of personal protective equipment (PPE).
