Technical Inside Sales Representative – Process Control Parts Location: Duluth, GA Job Type: Full-Time or Part-Time Industry: Industrial Automation / Process Control Department: Sales & Procurement Overview Process & Machinery Control (PMCX) is a leading supplier of unused, surplus, and remanufactured Distributed Control System (DCS) components. We specialize in fast, reliable quoting and shipping of hard-to-find parts from manufacturers like ABB, Foxboro, BAILEY, Honeywell, Siemens, and Allen-Bradley. We're seeking a Technical Inside Sales Representative to join our team in the purchasing and sales of DCS equipment. No travel is expected in this position. Key Responsibilities Manage inbound and outbound sales of DCS and PLC components Source legacy and obsolete parts from OEMs, surplus channels, and internal inventory Provide tailored quotes and technical guidance to customers Collaborate with repair and asset recovery teams to fulfill customer needs Maintain strong relationships with vendors and clients Track inventory and coordinate logistics for timely delivery Document sales activity in CRM and contribute to sales strategy Package and send components of sales to customers. Required Qualifications 3+ years in technical sales or procurement within process control or industrial automation Background in control system maintenance or field service Familiarity with Allen-Bradley PLC-5, Yokogama CENTUM, Siemens TELEPERM and SIMATIC S5 series, Honeywell TDC 3000 or other DCS platforms Strong understanding of instrumentation, control systems, and part specifications Experience sourcing legacy parts and managing customer expectations Excellent communication and organizational skills Ambition towards creating new sales opportunities and nurturing existing customers. Preferred Skills Technical degree or certification in engineering, automation, or electronics Familiarity with ABB (including BAILEY Infi90/Symphony), Foxboro I/A Series Ability to read schematics and interpret part numbers Process and Machinery Control provides a flexible work environment and quarterly bonus plan.
