Speech & Language Pathologist

Duties* Provide therapeutic speech and language services to students as required through thedevelopment of Individual Educational Plans.* Work directly with the classroom team to establish and maintain an integrated therapy program.* Implement a screening process to determine verbal and auditory skills, oral-motor structure andfunctioning, and diagnosis of students as directed.* Participate in shared educational activities as part of a team; parent/teacher conferences, teammeetings, etc.* Utilize a variety of therapy methods as needed to meet students' needs, i.e. individual, group,pull-out, integrated, etc.Qualifications* Hold a Masters Degree in Communication Disorders* Hold a registered, valid Illinois Professional Educator License, with Endorsement in Speech andLanguage Disorders.Salary/BenefitsCompetitive salary per collective bargaining agreementInsurance (Medical, Dental, Vision) for Full Time employeesRetirement optionsSick & Personal Days providedAdditional NotesA.E.R.O. is a Special Education Cooperative comprised of 11-member school districts, located in Burbank, IL, approximately 15 miles from the heart of Chicago. We aim to provide comprehensive special education programs and related services to Students Pre K- age 22 with disabilities, who are residents of our member districts.We are hiring full-time and part-time SLPs. All positions are at the new AERO Therapeutic Center in Burbank, IL.Our new therapeutic center offers a collaborative environment for SLPs to work with IEP teams and fellow Speech & Language Pathologists. AERO supports students from EC to age 22, allowing SLPs to engage in classroom activities, 1:1 sessions, and small group work. The center's design includes breakout spaces for more personalized learning.
