Responsibilities Greet guests warmly and present menus with enthusiasm, providing detailed descriptions of dishes and beverages. Take accurate food orders all by hand Serve food promptly while maintaining high standards of presentation, including cocktail and beverage service with spirits knowledge. Upsell menu items and specials to enhance guest experience and maximize sales opportunities. Manage cash handling, processing payments accurately, including cash transactions and credit card processing. Maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards by bussing tables, resetting dining areas, and adhering to food safety regulations. Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely food preparation and delivery, supporting food handling and sanitation protocols. Assist with guest relations by addressing inquiries, resolving concerns promptly, and ensuring overall guest satisfaction. Support other team members with tasks such as host/hostess duties or Busser help when needed to ensure seamless service flow. Skills Proven experience in food service or restaurant environments, especially in fine dining or hospitality settings. Strong and Legible Handwriting Skills are required Excellent customer service skills with a friendly demeanor and the ability to engage guests effectively. Demonstrated ability in beverage service, including cocktail preparation, wine knowledge, spirits experience, and drink presentation. Effective time management skills to handle multiple tables efficiently during busy hours. Basic math skills for accurate bill calculation, change handling, and sales upselling techniques. Food safety certification or knowledge of sanitation standards relevant to the food industry. Experience with food handling, food preparation support, bussing, or host/hostess roles is highly desirable.
