Manage routine and follow-up consultations, ensuring the highest quality of care.Call Coverage :24-hour call coverage from Monday through Sunday. Call duties are primarily phone-based, including handling "mommy clinic" calls and hospital/ER phone consultations. On-site visits are required only for new diabetic consults, typically involving a single visit during a 48-hour admission to meet with the family and arrange follow-up care.Candidate Requirements: Licensure :Must be licensed in North Carolina.Certifications :Board Certification: Required in Pediatric Endocrinology. DEA (Drug Enforcement Administration) certification is mandatory.Experience :Extensive experience in pediatric endocrinology, particularly in managing diabetic patients and other endocrine disorders.
