This contract opportunity offers the chance to work primarily night shifts with the flexibility to serve at a second Emergency Department location within the nearby Janesville area.Key Responsibilities:Apply the nursing process to assess, plan, intervene, and evaluate emergency patient care in collaboration with interdisciplinary teams.Administer medications and treatments following nursing standards, state regulations, and facility policies.Accurately document patient care and maintain compliance with clinical standards.Develop individualized patient care plans, including education and family instruction, aligned with physician directives.Engage in unit-based performance improvement and patient safety initiatives.Serve as a clinical resource and advocate, escalating concerns through the proper chain of command.Participate actively in nursing practice development, peer review, and quality enhancement activities.Qualifications & Certifications:Current Wisconsin RN license.Verified education credentials.Required certifications: BLS, ACLS, PALS, NIH Stroke Scale (NIHSS), TNCC or TNS.Up-to-date flu vaccination.Schedule:Primarily night shift hours.About the Location:Stoughton, WI, offers a welcoming community known for its vibrant cultural events and scenic surroundings.
