Peak Workforce Solutions (Newbold) is seeking a Staffing Specialist for a facility in Maxton, NC who is a creative, energetic individual with a "Whatever It Takes" attitude in fulfilling their job duties.The Staffing Specialist manages employees and staff while interacting with client operations, HR, and safety personnel to ensure all production goals are met is a safe and timely manner. Proactively searches for qualified job applicants for current or planned open positions. Identifies and screens candidates and conducts initial interviews via phone or online. Completes employment reference checks on candidatesSchedules candidates for interviews with recruiters and hiring managersDevelops talent pipelines for future hiring needsMaintains an up-to-date and effective candidate databaseGenerates or identifies leads for new businessRequirementsAbility to lead and motivation to learnProven work experience recruiting, staffing sales, or similar role (1 year or more)Hands-on experience with sourcing techniques (e.g. recruiting on social platforms)Solid verbal and written communication skillsExcellent computer skillsOutstanding time-management abilitiesAbility to work individually or on teams as requiredFamiliarity with Applicant Tracking Systems (ATSs) and Candidate Management Systems (CMSs)Ability to positively present our company and open roles to potential candidates and clientsHigh school diploma or equivalent
