7-3 or 3-11 Resident Care Assistant

Duties Assist residents with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs), including bathing, dressing, grooming, and mobility support using equipment like Hoyer lifts when necessary Monitor and record vital signs such as blood pressure, pulse, and temperature to ensure residents’ health stability Administer medications accurately following prescribed schedules and protocols in compliance with healthcare regulations Support residents with memory care needs, including dementia and Alzheimer’s care, employing patience and specialized techniques Prepare nutritious meals tailored to individual dietary requirements and assist with feeding when needed Maintain a clean, safe environment by performing light housekeeping duties and adhering to infection control standards Document resident interactions, health updates, and care activities using Electronic Medical Record (EMR) systems for accurate record-keeping Qualifications Prior experience in assisted living facilities, nursing homes, or home & community care settings is highly preferred Knowledge of dementia care, Alzheimer’s care, and behavior management techniques Certification or training in first aid and CPR is required or highly desirable Experience working with people with developmental disabilities or disabilities in general is a plus Ability to work effectively with seniors and individuals with complex health needs in a compassionate manner Strong communication skills to collaborate with team members, residents, and families effectively Valid driver’s license may be required for transportation duties or community outings Join us if you’re passionate about caregiving and eager to support seniors and individuals with disabilities in a dynamic environment.
