Direct Support Professional - Union Parish - Spearsville

As a caregiver at Americare, you’ll build relationships and improve the quality of life of the elderly/disabled population who are in need of care, compassion, and love. Your goal will be to help individuals enjoy life by assisting them with their activities of daily living (showering, grooming, dressing, toileting, ambulating, light housekeeping, light meal prep, medication reminders/monitoring, etc). We currently have a 6P-6A shift available in Spearsville for a bedbound patient. 16-hour DSW training and CPR certification are provided by the company. You must have a clean background, valid driver's license/state ID, reliable transportation, current auto insurance/registration (if you drive), ability to pass a drug test...and a GREAT WORK ETHIC!
