Network Engineer
The Network Engineer designs and configures networks, Video Management Systems, and Access Control Systems for new and ongoing projects, reporting to the Network Engineering Manager.Make sure to apply quickly in order to maximise your chances of being considered for an interview Read the complete job description below.Primary Duties and Responsibilities:Sets up and configures HP, Cisco, Ubiquiti, Juniper, Phoenix Contact, and other project-specific network equipment.Sets up and configures Video Management Systems, Bosch, Hanwha, Vicon, Motorola, Genetec and others as required per projectSets up and configures Access Control systems, Genetec, Identicard, Motorola, and others, based on project needs.Supports CAD Technicians in creating and verifying access control and network layouts and components.Assists Field Technicians and Customer Service teams for the installation and troubleshooting of network, VMS, and access control systems.Additional Responsibilities:Regularly setup Video Management Systems and Access Control SystemsProvide in-house training to enhance the team's understanding of network systems and technologies.Provide additional engineering support as directed by the Network Engineering Manager or CETO.Provide in-house and on-site customer service for non-essential or non-critical service requirements matching the individual's ability and as requested by the Engineering Team Director.Travel to project sites as needed to assist in network setup, Video management systems setup and troubleshooting and Card access systemsAid with other/undefined ACI tasks as requested by the Network Engineering Manager or CETO.Knowledge and Skill Requirements:Bachelor or Associate Degree in Network Engineering or a minimum of 2 years of relevant experience.Ability to read and understand riser diagrams and schematics.Knowledge of HP Aruba and Cisco network switches and command line interface.A comprehensive understanding of LAN, WAN, Multicast, and routing protocolsKnowledge of and proficient in Windows 10/11/Server and Linux Operating Systems.Experience with GIT for archiving configurations.Experience with or ability to learn Microsoft Office 365 and Microsoft Teams.Ability to work closely with all ACI business units.Strong attention to detail and focus on quality control.Dependable and flexible in the face of fast paced customer deadlines and changing priorities.Team oriented and supportive of ACI policies and procedures.Communicate effectively with others inside and outside the organization.Strong problem-solving skills and decision making skillsJob Requirements:Ability to lift on a continuous basis up to 25lbs, and occasionally up to 50lbs.Standing or sitting for long periods of timeThis is an in office position located in Ripon, WI.Accurate Controls Inc. is a fast pace, growing, exciting, and energetic group who provides security electronics integration to the correctional industry.
