Data Entry Specialist The Data Entry Specialist is responsible for accurately entering and maintaining data across various systems. The role involves research to resolve documentation discrepancies, updating computer records, and supporting logistics operations through organized data management and coordination. Responsibilities or Duties: Enter and input data into required systems. Perform minimal research to resolve material documentation discrepancies. Maintain files and coordinate with managers. Prepare and update a wide variety of data inputs to correct computer records. Use local files and computer-controlled entry devices to research discrepancies. Monitor control of non-government-owned items. Perform other position-related duties as assigned. Requirement/Must Have: High School Diploma or Equivalent. Knowledge of receipt transaction processing and discrepancy procedures. Working experience with Microsoft Word and Excel. Ability to operate data transcribing equipment with speed and accuracy. Ability to prioritize and track multiple tasks in a fast-paced, dynamic environment. Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team setting. Should have: Experience in logistics, warehouse operations, and inventory control (preferred).
