This is an excellent opportunity for a state-licensed and nationally certified Pharmacy Technician who enjoys problem‑solving and working in a collaborative, fast‑paced healthcare environment.
Location: Plymouth, MI & North Canton, OH | Hybrid, but primarily remote (1-2 days a month if needed)
Pay Rate: $20.50/hour +
Schedule: Monday–Friday, 11:30 AM–8:00 PM; occasional Saturdays (9:00 AM–5:00 PM) and overtime as business needs require
What You’ll Do:
Verify insurance eligibility and benefits through outbound calls and follow‑up communications
Resolve prescription and claims issues to ensure timely adjudication
Coordinate with Pharmacy Benefit Management (PBM) services to support accurate billing
Assist pharmacists and internal teams with audits and compliance reviews
Document all correspondence, escalations, and resolutions in accordance with payer and regulatory requirements
Required Qualifications:
High School Diploma or equivalent
Active State Pharmacy Technician license (in Michigan or Ohio)
National certification (PTCB or NHA)
1-2+ years of pharmacy experience (retail, mail order, specialty, PBM, or managed care)
Strong communication, documentation, and problem‑solving skills
Claims adjudication and secondary billing
Medicaid and discount card processing
PBM or managed care environment
