Pharmacy Benefits Technician-(Remote)

Our client is seeking a detail‑oriented Pharmacy Benefits Verification Technician to support members, providers, and insurance carriers by ensuring accurate insurance verification and prescription claims processing. This is an excellent opportunity for a state-licensed and nationally certified Pharmacy Technician who enjoys problem‑solving and working in a collaborative, fast‑paced healthcare environment. Location: Plymouth, MI & North Canton, OH | Hybrid, but primarily remote (1-2 days a month if needed) Pay Rate: $20.50/hour + Schedule: Monday–Friday, 11:30 AM–8:00 PM; occasional Saturdays (9:00 AM–5:00 PM) and overtime as business needs require What You’ll Do: Verify insurance eligibility and benefits through outbound calls and follow‑up communications Resolve prescription and claims issues to ensure timely adjudication Coordinate with Pharmacy Benefit Management (PBM) services to support accurate billing Assist pharmacists and internal teams with audits and compliance reviews Document all correspondence, escalations, and resolutions in accordance with payer and regulatory requirements Required Qualifications: High School Diploma or equivalent Active State Pharmacy Technician license (in Michigan or Ohio) National certification (PTCB or NHA) 1-2+ years of pharmacy experience (retail, mail order, specialty, PBM, or managed care) Strong communication, documentation, and problem‑solving skills Claims adjudication and secondary billing Medicaid and discount card processing PBM or managed care environment Why You’ll Love This Role: Hybrid work environment, primarily remote Competitive pay with stable hours Opportunity to grow within pharmacy benefits and healthcare operations Supportive team and structured training Pathway from temporary to permanent based on performance with amazing company benefits  Upon completion of waiting period, Manpower associates are eligible for: Medical and Prescription Drug Plans Dental Plan Supplemental Life Insurance Short Term Disability Insurance 401(k) If this is a role that interests you and you'd like to learn more, click apply now and a recruiter will be in touch with you to discuss this great opportunity.
