Bring your big ideas knowing you are safe to be who you are and speak up with concerns or questions and put your diverse talents and perspectives to use.The Opportunity As the Project Manager, you will have the opportunity to:Be responsible for business management with priorities on client relationship development in the Texas area, effective positioning within target client organizations, leading pursuit teams, and strong financial management to include both top line and bottom line growthManage water and wastewater engineering capture strategies requiring global resources and/or multiple partnersBe accountable for project performance and specific New Business objectivesCreate opportunities for new/repeat business; supports complex contract negotiations with appropriate client managementManage varied complex risk which includes fixed price or new technology or non domestic markets or new clientsThis role will be based out of our San Antonio office. This team is ranked in the top 10 by ENR for Water Design Firms in Water Supply and Sewer Waste and other water-related rankings.Key ResponsibilitiesPrepare and implement Client Development Plans for assigned clientsDevelop and maintain personal relationships with assigned clients, business partners, and competitorsDeliver expected volume of New Business and Earned PGM from assigned project portfolioPromote the full range of service offeringsAssign and lead positioning of client account teamsUpdate and maintain ECRM to accurately reflect market potential for assigned clientsDevelop or review all key pursuit strategy and positioning, and lead or support proposal developmentManage the assigned portion of the business development budgetMake Go / No Go decisions or recommendations, and assist with preparation of PRB documentsOversee execution of professional service projects to meet or exceed expectations for safety, quality, schedule, and budgetApply market pricing to ensure that each pursuit is competitiveActively manage performance of assigned staff and projects; and lead accountability within the RegionSupervise and mentor assigned Client Directors and / or Project ManagersManagement ResponsibilitiesActs as a project manager. Among responsibilities is management of a project team. The individual comprising this team may vary by project.Preferred Qualifications10+ engineering experience, prior experience as a project manager; technical experience and background is recommended.
