This role serves as a senior technical contributor responsible for building high-quality platform functionality, developing user-facing portals, and supporting core ServiceNow capabilities aligned to mission and business needs. The ideal candidate brings strong hands-on ServiceNow development experience, deep familiarity with portal technologies, and the ability to work collaboratively within Agile and SAFe delivery environments. This role requires a developer who can translate requirements into maintainable, performant ServiceNow solutions while adhering to federal standards and best practices.Roles And ResponsibilitiesDesign, develop, and configure ServiceNow solutions to support federal program requirementsBuild and maintain custom applications, workflows, business rules, and UI policiesDevelop and enhance ServiceNow ITOM functionalityDesign, develop, and support ServiceNow portals and web-based user experiences, including Service Portal and/or UI BuilderCollaborate with ServiceNow Architects to implement scalable, standards-based solutionsParticipate in Agile and SAFe ceremonies, including sprint planning, reviews, and retrospectivesPerform code reviews and ensure adherence to development standards and best practicesSupport platform upgrades, patching, and performance tuningTroubleshoot and resolve ServiceNow defects and production issuesEnsure configurations and customizations align with federal security and compliance requirementsContribute to technical documentation and knowledge sharing across the teamSupport and enhance ITOM knowledge enablement Other duties as assignedMinimum Qualifications5+ years of hands-on ServiceNow development experienceStrong experience developing custom ServiceNow applications and platform configurationsHands-on experience with ServiceNow portal development (Service Portal and/or UI Builder)Proficiency with ServiceNow scripting (JavaScript, Glide APIs)Experience working in Agile or SAFe delivery environmentsEDUCATION AND CERTIFICATIONSBachelor’s degreeServiceNow CSA and CAD or CIS certificationPreferred QualificationsServiceNow Certified Implementation Specialist (CIS):CIS – ITOMExperience supporting federal government programsStrong experience with Service Portal, UI Builder, and user experience designExperience configuring ITSM moduleFamiliarity with ServiceNow data model and performance optimizationStrong problem-solving, communication, and collaboration skillsExperience supporting DevSecOps-aligned Agile teamsSECURITY CLEARANCEAbility to obtain and maintain a Public TrustPursuant to government contracts, US Citizenship is requirediTech AG is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
