Childcare Provider

Care for children ages 6 weeks to 5 years old Description We are seeking a FULL TIME Infant Teacher FOR AGES 6 weeks to 5 years old Are you interested in working in a childcare center making a difference in children’s lives? De Colores Child Development Center, LLC. Is looking for a patient, loving, compassionate childcare provider who has experience working with children ages 1 to 5 years of age. The De Colores Childcare Provider will help lead developmentally appropriate practices that encourage healthy, physical, social, and emotional development for the children. Responsibilities: Assist teachers in creating age appropriate lessons Create a classroom environment of safety and respect Perform daily cleaning routines to keep facilities sanitary and safe Keep parents and families updated on their student’s daily activities and progress Teach, supervise, and scaffold up to 15 children to 1 teacher ratio Care for infants, toddlers, preschoolers, and after schoolers. Student at Del Mar College or TAMUCC Preferred Requirements: High School Diploma or GED (Transcripts are not allowed) 1+ years of experience working in Child Development or a related field Ability to work creatively and flexibly Must be able to multitask efficiently Must be able to lift up to 50lbs.
