Keep reading.ProMach's Zalkin and Federal divisions are seeking a talented IT System Administrator responsible for maintaining stable, secure, and well-functioning IT systems while providing high-quality support to end users both onsite and remotely. This is a hands-on, execution-focused role requiring strong technical skills and the ability to work independently within established IT standards.This position reports to Business Unit IT leadership. While responsible for day-to-day IT operations, all strategic decisions, system design changes, and major modifications are directed by Business Unit IT leadership.Are you motivated about this work?Maintain and support Windows Server environments (2016 - 2025) and Hyper-V virtual infrastructureEnd User support for desktops, laptops, mobile devices, printers, and business & productivity applicationsPerform system patching and updates using N-ableMonitor system performance, uptime, and overall environment healthSupport and maintain network infrastructure including switches, routers, firewalls, and wireless systemsProvide onsite support for the Statham location and remote support for an out-of-state siteServe as escalation point for complex technical issues and manage ticket flowAdminister Active Directory including user setup, deactivation, and access managementSupport Syteline ERP-related IT functions, Access databases, and SharePoint environmentsMaintain backup and recovery processes and follow corporate cybersecurity proceduresManage IT assets including hardware inventory, software licensing, and lifecycle trackingCreate and maintain documentation including SOPs, onboarding/offboarding processes, and support proceduresCoordinate with vendors and support projects as directed by Business Unit IT leadershipExecute all work in alignment with established IT standards and directionIf this sounds like you, we want to connect!Qualifications3 - 5+ years of hands-on IT Systems Administration experienceStrong experience with Windows Server, Hyper-V, and Active DirectorySolid understanding of networking fundamentals (DNS, DHCP, TCP/IP, switching/routing)Experience with patch management tools such as N-able or similarExperience supporting multi-site environments (onsite and remote)Proven ability to manage daily IT operations independentlyStrong troubleshooting, organization, and prioritization skillsExcellent communication and customer service mindsetDemonstrated ability to operate effectively within established IT standards and processesAbility to appropriately escalate and obtain IT leadership approval for changes outside routine support and maintenancePreferredExperience in a manufacturing environmentExposure to Syteline ERPExperience with SharePoint and Access databasesFamiliarity with backup solutions (e.g., Barracuda, Veeam)What's in it for you?There's no monopoly on good ideas or limits to how far you can advance with our team.
