Material Handler

Client Leidos for the DODClearance: No clearance required at application; must be able to obtain a Secret clearance after hire U.S. citizenship. Required to be eligiblePosition OverviewThe Material Handler will support a production and integration facility serving Department of Defense customers. The role performs warehouse, inventory, receiving, distribution, packaging, shipping, and material-handling activities. The employee will work with internal teams including engineering, program management, procurement, and external suppliers.ResponsibilitiesReceive and inspect incoming materials.Stock inventoried materials on shelves.Pick materials for production orders and deliver them to assigned points of contact.Perform cycle counts and help reconcile inventory discrepancies.Set up and connect IT equipment for remote configuration.Coordinate large pallet shipments through receiving and distribution.Support inventory management for company-owned, government-owned, and customer-owned assets.Package and ship products.Perform other warehouse duties as assigned.Required QualificationsU.S. citizenship.Prior relevant work experience.Strong communication, analytical, and organizational skills.Ability to manage multiple activities simultaneously.Ability to prioritize work and meet strict deadlines.Strong attention to detail.Ability to resolve issues with team members at all levels.Proficiency with Microsoft Office, particularly Excel.Ability to lift 50 pounds, stand for extended periods, and climb ladders to retrieve inventory.Preferred QualificationsExperience in a hardware production environment.Familiarity with MRP systems, preferably Costpoint.Foundational understanding of ISO, quality assurance, and configuration management practices.Proactive problem-solving skills.Understanding of electrostatic discharge and material-protection practices.Understanding of government DD forms.Benefits (employee contribution):Health insuranceHealth savings accountDental insuranceVision insuranceFlexible spending accountsLife insuranceRetirement planAll qualified applicants will receive consideration for employment without regard to age, race, color, religion, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity, national origin, disability, or status as a protected veteran.
