As a key member of our maintenance team, you will be responsible for overseeing all maintenance-related tasks, ensuring protocols and procedures are followed, and communicating issues and needs for capital expenditure.About the Role:As a Regional Maintenance professional, you will play a critical role in maintaining the facilities and equipment of our centers at Allure of Mendota, Allure of Peru, Allure of Pinecrest, Allure of Zion SNF and SLF. Your primary responsibility will be to plan, develop, organize, implement, evaluate, and direct the maintenance department, ensuring that all tasks are completed in a timely and efficient manner. You will also be responsible for ensuring that all maintenance personnel follow established safety regulations and guidelines.Key Responsibilities:Plan, develop, organize, implement, evaluate, and direct the maintenance departmentOversee documentation, Tels, workorders, physical review, plant operation, building construction, fire alarm, sprinklers, electrical, plumbing, etc.Assume administrative authority, responsibility, and accountability for directing the maintenance departmentCoordinate maintenance services and activities with other related departmentsAssist in establishing a preventive maintenance programRepair facility/resident property as necessaryInspect storage rooms, workrooms, utility/janitorial closets, etc., for upkeep and supply controlParticipate in facility surveys (inspections) made by authorized government agencies as necessary or as may be directedKeep abreast of economic conditions/situations and recommend to the Administrator adjustments in maintenance services that assure the continued ability to provide a clean, safe, and comfortable environmentRequirements:High school education or equivalent required5-10 years of building experience as a maintenance directorValid driver's licenseConduct a background and drug screenAbility to read and interpret blueprintsKnowledge of boilers, compressors, generators, etc., as well as various mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systemsKnowledge of building codes and safety regulationsLicensure in accordance with current applicable standards, codes, labor laws, etc.Ability to read, write, speak, and understand the English languageAbility to make independent decisions when circumstances warrant such actionAbility to deal tactfully with personnel, residents, family members, visitors, government agencies/personnel, and the general publicKnowledge of maintenance practices and procedures, as well as the laws, regulations, and guidelines governing maintenance functions in nursing care facilitiesAbility to plan and carry out programs in repair, new construction, and equipment installationAbility to relate information concerning a resident's conditionPhysical Demands:Must be able to move intermittently throughout the workdayMust function independently and have flexibility, personal integrity, and the ability to work effectively with the residents, personnel, and support agenciesMust meet the general health requirements set forth by the policies of this facility, which include a medical and physical examinationMust be able to push, pull, move, and/or lift a minimum of 25 pounds to a minimum height of 5 feet and be able to push, pull, move, and/or carry such weight a minimum of 50 feetMay be necessary to assist in the evacuation of residents during emergency situationsWhat We Offer:Competitive earnings: Salary $70,000-$80,000 per year based on experience.Benefits package, including 3% Matching 401K, Health, Vision, Dental, Disability, Life Insurance, Paid time off, and moreSupportive working environmentOpportunity for advancementIf you are a motivated and experienced maintenance professional looking for a new challenge, we encourage you to apply for this exciting opportunity.
