PRN ECT REGISTERED NURSE (RN)

PRN ECT Registered NurseThis position is in charge of and responsible for the operation of the ECT room. Assigns duties to and supervises the performance of other nursing staff. Makes frequent assessments of patients and reports any change in condition to the team leader and/or physician. Secures orders from physician, makes appropriate entries in chart, administers prescribed medications and treatments. Provides nursing care to patients, does patient teaching. Assists in other areas of ECT as needed.Must be a graduate from an accredited school of nursing, whether it be a diploma, Associates Degree or a Baccalaureate program. Must hold and maintain a current Florida Nursing License.
