ABOUT THIS ROLEGenimex is seeking a Digital Marketing Manager with proven expertise in SEO, AI-driven search, and digital content - someone who can own the execution layer of our marketing function and build the systems behind it. This role is central to how Genimex grows its digital presence, generates a top-of-funnel pipeline, and maintains consistency across all marketing channels.You will manage key vendor relationships, drive content and social strategy, own marketing analytics and CRM operations, and serve as the in-house expert on SEO and AI search optimization across digital platforms. The Head of Marketing owns overall strategy and brand direction - this role owns execution, infrastructure, and the domain expertise that makes it all run.ABOUT USWith over 50 years of full-service contract manufacturing experience, Genimex specializes in product design, engineering and production. This allows our clients to focus on their sales and marketing efforts.KEY RESPONSIBILITIESThis role calls for someone who proactively maintains momentum across marketing initiatives - owning deliverables like newsletters and content calendars, and thoughtfully assessing partner performance with data-backed recommendations. A strong sense of ownership and accountability is key. We are looking for someone with demonstrated experience who:Brings genuine depth in SEO and AI/GEO search and takes full ownership of that functionExecutes independently across multiple channels without needing constant directionManages vendor relationships with accountability - not just coordinationThinks in systems: builds repeatable processes that scaleMoves comfortably between technical work, creative writing, and operational tasksContent Strategy & ManagementOwn the content calendar tied to campaigns, events, and sales priorities Content writer oversight: briefing, editing, and quality control — ensure all output meets SEO and AI search standardsNewsletter campaign management: ideate topics, draft copy, coordinate design and production with our design studio, and maintain a consistent publishing cadence to our CRM audience, and add to our website blog Track and report on newsletter performance: open rates, CTR, and engagementSEO & AI/GEO OptimizationOwn Genimex's SEO strategy in partnership with our SEO agency and manage the relationship (set direction, clearly and briefly, hold accountable, and evaluate performance on an ongoing basis)AI/GEO optimization: ensure Genimex surfaces in ChatGPT, Perplexity, Gemini, and emerging AI search platforms - a critical and growing priority for the business. Importance of staying ahead of trends and proactively implementing.Familiarity with technical SEO concepts: schema markup, crawlability, indexing, and site health - SEO agency handles execution, but you need enough working knowledge to communicate clearly, oversee their work, and flag issuesKeyword research and competitive analysis across manufacturing and design categoriesSocial MediaOwn the LinkedIn content calendar: planning, copywriting, posting, and community engagementDraft thought leadership content that reflects Genimex's voice and builds credibility with brand founders, product managers, and design professionalsGrow Genimex's LinkedIn following through consistent, relevant, and engaging contentMonitor comments, respond to engagement, and participate in relevant industry conversationsTrack performance: impressions, engagement, and follower growthAnalytics & ReportingOwn the monthly marketing KPI dashboard across all active channels and contribute to quarterly marketing updatesGoogle Analytics and Google Search Console: traffic, rankings, lead sources, and conversion trackingFunnel analysis: identify where leads are dropping off and surface optimization opportunitiesGo beyond reporting numbers - provide context, flag trends, and recommend actionCRM & Marketing AutomationTake full ownership of marketing operations and maintain monthly reporting Build and maintain automated marketing email workflowsDocument all workflows and build repeatable systems that scale with the teamWebsite & Vendor ManagementDay-to-day updates: new content maintained independentlyCoordinate closely with the design studio on all creative needs: communicate ideas clearly, brief thoroughly, manage feedback loops, and ensure all output is on brandHold all vendors to agreed timelines and deliverablesREQUIREMENTS4-7 years of hands-on digital marketing experience with clear ownership across SEO, content, and CRM/lifecycle (not purely support roles)Proven track record of driving organic growth (traffic, engagement, or pipeline) through SEO and content initiativesStrong working knowledge of SEO and AI/GEO optimization, including hands-on experience improving visibility in AI-driven search environmentsProficiency in marketing analytics and reporting (i.e. Google Analytics, Search Console); able to track KPIs, interpret trends, and communicate insights clearlyExperience managing agencies and external vendors with accountability (briefing, feedback, performance evaluation)Strong written communication skills across channels (LinkedIn, newsletters, email) with a consistent, on-brand voiceExperience with CRM systems and marketing automation, including building and maintaining workflowsComfortable using AI tools in day-to-day marketing workflows (e.g., for content development, research, optimization, or efficiency gains)Self-directed and highly organized, with the ability to manage multiple workstreams and maintain momentum without close oversightAbility to connect content across channels and align it to top-of-funnel growth goalsPREFERRED BACKGROUNDExperience in B2B marketing (manufacturing, design, or professional services)Exposure to small to mid-sized, fast-paced teamsBackground in or familiarity with the consumer product or industrial design ecosystemAbility to travel domestically and internationally as needed (<10%)ROLE DETAILSFull-time (days) positionHybrid work environment (3 days on-site in NY: Mon, Tues, Wed)No direct reportsReports to: Head of MarketingIn compliance with New York State and New York City pay transparency laws, the base salary range for this role is $90,000 - $110,000 depending on experience, skills, and internal equity. This role is also eligible for:Annual performance-based bonusComprehensive benefits package, including health, dental, vision, 401(k), and unlimited paid time offWe are an Equal Opportunity Employer. We do not discriminate based on race, color, religion, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity, national origin, age, disability, veteran status, or other protected status under applicable law.
