Together with our partners and participants, we cultivate communities where people are progressively seen, accepted, challenged, and supported.General SummaryThe Director of Marketing & Integrated Communications is a strategic, hands-on leader responsible for strengthening St. Matthew’s House’s brand, advancing fundraising and event efforts, supporting volunteer engagement, and driving awareness and revenue for our social enterprises. This role also supports internal departments including HR, Facilities, and Programs.This position blends vision, storytelling, and execution. The Director stewards SMH’s Christ-centered mission story and ensures clear, compelling, and consistent messaging across Mission, Development, Events, and Social Enterprises. This leader not only connects campaigns across channels but helps define what story we tell and how it resonates with donors, clients, volunteers, customers, and the broader community.Key ResponsibilitiesLeadership & Team DevelopmentLead, coach, and manage a team of marketing professionalsEstablish clear workflows, deadlines, and accountabilityDrive projects from idea - plan - execution - completionBuild a culture of excellence, momentum, and follow-throughMission Storytelling & Message StrategyDefine and steward SMH’s holistic mission narrativeEnsure messaging clarity around who we are, who we serve, and why it mattersApply story-driven frameworks to unify messaging across audiencesIntegrated Marketing & Brand StrategyDesign and execute multi-channel campaigns across brand, fundraising, events, and social enterprisesStrengthen brand positioning, audience segmentation, and differentiationMaintain tone of voice and brand consistency across ministry and enterprise contextsFundraising, Events & Social Enterprise MarketingPartner with Development on donor communications and fundraising campaignsDrive event awareness, attendance, and engagementSupport marketing strategies that grow traffic, revenue, and loyalty for Social EnterprisesDigital Platforms, AI & AnalyticsOversee website strategy, SEO, social media, and digital advertisingUse CRM tools (Virtuous preferred) for segmentation, execution, and reportingChampion modern tools, automation, analytics, and AI (Copilot and approved tools) to improve efficiency and outputRequirementsQualificationsRequiredBachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Journalism, or related field5+ years of marketing experience with significant leadership responsibilityDemonstrated ability to shape message strategy and execute integrated campaignsStrong project management, communication, and collaboration skillsMission-driven mindset and alignment with SMH Core Values: Helpful, Healing, Excellence, God-HonoringPreferredMaster’s degreeNonprofit, fundraising, or ministry communications experienceExperience marketing retail, food service, or social enterprisesAdditional RequirementsAbility to manage multiple projects and deadlines in a fast-paced environmentFlexibility to work occasional nights/weekends and travel to SMH locationsValid Florida driver’s license and required auto insurance. This role requires maintaining primary auto insurance minimum liability limits of $100,000/$300,000 bodily injury, $100,000 property damage or $300,000 combined single limit. Must be an approved St. Matthew's House driver.Ability to lift and operate production equipment (25lbs+)
