Overview of position: FEDITC is seeking an experienced, C4I Web Software Developer Senior to be responsible for the successful performance in supporting the 8th Army C4I Deployable IT Services at United States Army Garrison (USAG) Humphreys, Pyeongtaek, South Korea. All work is related to C4I. Information Technology (IT) has transformed traditional battlefield functions, through emerging IT applications, progressing towards full realization of net-centric warfare. The complexity as well as number of 8A systems and networks has rapidly outgrown our organic ability to manage them. This support ensures a robust net-centric infrastructure, maintains network dominance, supplements our organic personnel and is fundamental to accomplishing the 8A mission. This is an upcoming opportunity contingent on contract award with a projected start date of 2 December 2024. A United States Citizenship and an active Secret Clearance with a minimum Background Investigation complete NALC\T3 with SSBI\T5 initiated. is required to be considered for this position. Must either reside in South Korea or be willing to relocate if currently outside of South Korea Responsibilities: Augment the 8A Knowledge Management Directorate by performing SharePoint Front-End Developer Capabilities Design, develop, pilot, and implement highly scalable SharePoint automation solutions and creation of enterprise content on the 8A SharePoint Portals (NIPRNET, SIPRNET, and CENTRIXS-K). Include content design, creation, and user support to end-users; employs out-of-the-box (OOTB) capabilities in MS InfoPath, MS Visual Studio, SharePoint Designer, and related tools within the web application framework to automate critical business and information processes using forms, workflows, dashboards, search, taxonomies, and other front-end mechanisms to simplify data entry, validation, storage, retrieval and reporting Create re-usable solutions available to support collaboration efforts across all networks (NIPRNET, SIPRNET, and CENTRIXS-K); to include developing custom front-end solutions Provide SharePoint Portal support necessary to ensure optimal operation of the 8A Microsoft Office SharePoint Portal (MOSS) on all three networks (NIPRNET, SIPRNET, and CENTRIXS-K) Provide quarterly SharePoint training to 8A personnel up to 10 students per class Publish any developed training instructions or how-to guides to the 8A SharePoint Portal on the media provided by the government representative identified by the COR Provide knowledge management plans, policy, and governance Perform routine operations and maintenance on current SharePoint 2010 and 2013 site collections and any future versions of SharePoint Perform administrative activities such as modification and maintenance of enterprise content, permissions maintenance, user/content manager training, and content troubleshooting design, including user interface experience, automated report generation, and automation with other Microsoft Office applications Experience/Skills: Two (2) of the last four (4) years performing Custom Applications/Coding tasks. The Contractor shall in-depth knowledge of coding the front-end of current SharePoint 2016, 2019 and Power BI platforms and future SharePoint and Army/Office 365 platforms Education: Bachelors degree in computer science or closely related field. Bachelors degree can be waived with four (4) continuous years performing Custom Application Coding tasks Certifications: DoD 8570.01-M/DoD 8140 IAT Level II certification. One of the following: MS Specialist Certification in Visual Studio, Programming in HTML5 with JavaScript and CSS3 or Power BI. If either of the certifications are superseded, then the position requires the updated or most current certification to be obtained Clearance: US Secret Clearance, Minimum Background Investigation complete NALC\T3 with SSBI/T5 initiated.
